i dont understand how this process works... after this is done you would have to have longer push rods... correct? if not i just dont get it... i have a cam from a 86 chrysler 5th avenue 318 2 barrel, with roller lifters. a new cam/lifter set is gonna cost me like $400... would having the cam reground be cheaper? and like i said would i need new push rods..?

I prefer the Mustang 5.0 sound over the LS1 high pitched sound, low end power that stays until about 6000 mabye 6200rpms.
So Im guessing that its the low duration that gives the mustang its sound, though I cant put in my head how the lobe seperation effects the sound.
But would it require a long duration, to make a car at 5000 rpms sound like its at 4000 rpms/ 1000 sound like 750??
I can always find info on cam profiles vs performance but overall cam profile vs sound is kinda hard.

as we do 25 - 50 customs per day our wheels are multi purpose for flat tappet and rollers

I ground cams for 8 years on Berco's. With the correct grinding wheel you can grind steel billets way faster and not heat crack them

flat tappet cams are alot faster, this is a roller cam and the steel cams require a smooth finish and can't be cut fast or they get heat fractures

that's a Berco grinder. They should run alot faster than that
