Sacred Harp is sung all over the country, not just by 'Southern Baptists' and 'northeastern hippies'. If your viewers want some other authentic examples, they can search YouTube using the terms 'shape note Sacred Harp singing.' If it's OK with you, I'll post a video response here.

Hi PB:

One of the crewmen who sang is the source of the quote about "Southern Baptists and Northeastern hippies". My wife, the music major, made certain I got that right away. I did post a URL for Sacred Harp singing in the write up for the video. It's the Wikipedia site. My focus in this video is on how well the music and awesome setting compliment one another.

I thought perhaps some viewers of your video would want to hear more of the music (as distinct from reading information about it) and wanted to let it be known that there are many Sacred Harp songs posted on YouTube.
