West Hollywood voted unanimously to ban the sale of fur. This ordinance banning fur is a historic step for the rest of the world, as it is the first city in the United States to pass such an ordinance. Cities like West Hollywood and communities all around the country are recognizing that the fur trade is barbaric, cruel and not fashionable. Bring it on!

Im unsure as to why you think after hundreds of thousands of years, humans, or humanoids are going to give up eating meat and wearing fur. You are forgetting vegans ad vegitarians are the small minority in the world. People don't care that they are eating animals, and again you are delusional if you think in 7 years time peoples attitudes are going to be different.

Lets see whats happened in the last 10 years with reguards to fur and meat, oh yeah, sales are through the roof.

Stop being silly. Its fact, its in the records, fur is a billion pound business and so is meat. White meat and fish are healthy and us being omnivorious we are build to digest meat aswell as other things. I agree red meat is already seen as unhealthy, but just like smoking, its not going away so thats a bad comparison to make.

Re-read and notice that I said in 10 years time, not 1 or 2 but 10. So you can rant about the biggest ever sales last year (which we both know is bullshit propaganda, but hey, go a head I won't tell anyone).

No, I don't think America will give up meat willingly but I do know they will it give up. The world will no longer be able to deal with that carbon-footprint. In less than 7 years meat-eaters will be viewed like smokers are now, and in 10 gone!
