Hey. Awesome cover! I'm a beginner drummer and I have a small question. During the chorus, when you open and close the hi-hat, are you doing it with the heel down? And if so, is it generally preferable to play the hi-hat pedal like that? Just asking :) Thanks in advance.

@zouru Glad you enjoyed it! My hi-hat foot is almost always heel up. In no way does that mean that that is the best way to play it; some people rock their foot, some heel down. What's most important is that you're comfortable and getting a solid sizzle out of them. Let me know if you have any more questions!

Awesome playing! How do you like your Meinl Cymbals? Mike Johnston gave a Drum Clinic at Skips Music this evening.. Brillant and Awesome as usual! Your stage presence has truly improved.. Now i can really see that you're enjoying what your playing... My compliments to you! Great Job! Happy Holidays to you! Til next time......

@asifwekere Thanks so much! The Meinls are incredible. I was surprised at how significant the difference was between them and other brands I'll leave nameless. Really wish I could have seen the clinic!

hey man! that was like, a really good cover! just wondering what you used to edit your video and what cymbals your using (especially the ride) because i really like the sound. thanks!

@JAMiie03 Thank you! The ride is a Meinl Byzance 20" Dark Raw Bell Ride. The Hi-hats are Byzance 14" Sand Hats. For editing I use Pro Tools 9 for audio and Sony Vegas Pro 9 for video, but you can easily get very similar results with free softwares if you know how to use them.
