President Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) into law. It contains a sweeping worldwide indefinite detention provision.

The dangerous new law can be used by this and future presidents to militarily detain people captured far from any battlefield. He signed it. Now, we have to fight it wherever we can and for as long as it takes.

Sign the ACLU's pledge to fight worldwide indefinite detention for as long as it takes:

  • Do you really think the president doesn't know that the people hate this bill? How is a petition going to stop his agenda to restrain our freedom. First the government takes our guns away, then instates a military bill over its people, and finally passes bills that control all media outlets. Thats what SOPA/PIPA/ACTA is for. You really think the president gives a dam about the people?

  • @ControverScielthings With a defeatist attitude like that, we will be.

  • it doesn't matter anymore, we're doomed

  • I signed it.

  • The government also promised that the Patriot Act would not be used against Americans, but it is frequently used to invade privacy. I wouldn't trust them one inch in this matter!

  • I love the ACLU~ They definitely do not nit-pick when it comes to the constitution and what is right! Many liberals have turned a blind eye to this, which is disgusting! Just because the current prez is proficient in speech and a dem, doesn't mean he is actually doing what he is suppose to be doing!

  • Better to do something than be trollish and do nothing. Thanks for the heads up guys. Keep on fighting the good fight. Look forward to your daily bits.

  • @valhala56 I agree, this bill is part of a globalist agenda. A petition is laughable. Its why we always lose. We try to play the game within the framework of the rules that the globalists decided upon and refuse to follow themselves. Its like trying to beat a football team by playing golf.
