@jennah02 land of islam quickly becomes land of muslims. there is NO land of islam in this age. according to fiqh there is little to no difference between england and pakistan. change the circumstance, give us a place that welcomes muslims to migrate to. give us a place where we can work, buy property, raise our children. give us a place where can bring our parent without hardship, then come back with your slogans. thats what our prophet did, not what you're doing.

@jennah02 I think it's clear what the fallacy of your statement. What is Dar al Harb and Dar al Islam? The place where Muslims are fighting the greatest battle are in their own homes - Egypt, Syria, Bahrain.....

@farhan00... And the scholars obviously know these things and they have ruled that even today hijrah to the muslim lands is wajib.

@jennah02 It's funny to see those who come from Islamic countries get uncomfortable when they see Islam rising from secular lands. It's almost as if they are insecure about their own selves and use Islam as a means of putting down those who Allah has chosen to spread Islam in secular lands. I find it amusing.

IT should be Muslim American
la hawla wala kowata ila billah: Sheikh Salah Al-Sawy stated the following: "it is known among the people of knowledge that no one travels outside the lands of Islam except for a valid Islamic reason, such as Da’wah to Allaah, or seeking knowledge that does not exist in the lands of Muslims and so forth. Also, this is with the condition that one is safe from fitnah in religion and able to establish acts of worship and religion in public. "

@jennah02 Do Dar al-Harb and Dar al-Islam exist anymore, or are these antiquated fiqhi concepts that do not apply to our times? Where exactly is Dar al-Islam? Remember, these concepts are not codified into our Deen, they were realities for the Fuqaha of THEN. While Usool al-Fiqh is immutable, some of its conclusions *do* change based on the circumstances.
May Allah bless us all.
