The thing is, Rock music has gotten so hard, and all the singers sing like they are Oscar the grouch that there is a big void. I agree, some country is just rock with a twang, I think that is why it is so popular these days. If you like Rock, then the only place to find it is in country music.

@hpfan2dmax because "Country" would be Meryl Haggard, George Jones, Johnny Cash. Modern country has evolved so much in the past twenty years or so that it's more of a country rock than anything. yes, our artists ARE country, just not the country that country started out as. i apologize for a rant. i just don't want hard feeling with a person i don't know, especially over something so small. so i'm sorry for sounding so mean.
