CJVA 810 Caraquet, NB, Canada, received in Ireland with the help of an MFJ 1026 antenna phasing unit. Dawn, September 4th 2007.

Antennas being phased: a 100 metre terminated beverage on ground against a 30 metre sloping wire.

Receiver was a JRC NRD545.

  • Excellent. I'm using a JRC NRD545 with an RF DX500 active antenna about 10M above the ground. After your video I've just ordered an MFJ 1026 from Radio World. I have a lot of local QRM on the aircraft freq (5598, 5616 etc) I'm interested in. Love MW as well. Thanks for that video. You should get commission from MFJ !!!!!! BTW I'm in Belfast NI !
