@MrBaldridge1988 There are size specifications for the length of brass, so that your load round will function properly in your firearm.. As the brass expands when fired, it changes size, and not necessarily uniformly from piece to piece. Trimming the brass brings it back to spec, and makes the brass uniform in length. Uniformity may add in accuracy. It will also ensure that your brass will run better through your reloading press, as some dies require uniform length brass..
