a song i wrote that was inspired by my dear soul partner melody.
The honeybee, gathers happily,
Your ever flowing nectar from flowers and trees,
The river flows, and everyone knows that the endless blue ocean is it's destiny,
But none sings of Thee quite like Melody.
The hummingbird, a wonder beyond words,
Singing of the seasons in eternity,
Reflected in our eyes, Your ocean of sky,
Reminding Your children to spread their wings,
But none sings of Thee quite like Melody.
The flowers bloom with humble perfume,
To assimilate the sunlight and marvel at the moon,
The planets keep pace, balanced by Your grace,
Soaring to a symphony of silence in space,
But none reminds me of Thee quite like Melody.
And now we laugh together in Your rain,
We sing songs together in Your sun,
Holding hands together underneath Your stars,
And in the silence we are one.
The children pray, thank you for this day,
They see their mothers smiling, allowing them to play,
Just one more hour, the blessed game of friendship,
discovering the power of Joy within their being,
But none reminds me of Thee quite like Melody.
