FM stereo is much better in terms of quality, so he must be deaf and the type that buys snake oil.

don't worry guys! DAB plus it's coming out soon which is much better sound wise, reception wise and above all, power consumption. But with the rise of Wi-Fi and other technologies, there will be a lot more choice with regards to in car entertainment and picking up radio stations.
