  • please can you post the complete opera i would like to see the subtitles it helps a lot?thanks

  • @vxz76 I am currently adding the subtitles to Part 4 (which includes "A Serpina penserete"), and it will be uploaded to YouTube by June or July 2011. The rest will follow, for a total of six parts.

  • Moffo is so cute and Montarsolo is perfect, old, grumpy doctor Uberto - can you post complete opera?

  • @baculkar I agree -- the singers are wonderful in their parts. As for the complete opera, I plan to post it in six parts, but it may take a few more weeks as I am adding the subtitles myself.

  • This is so beautiful,I wish it could be in colour though.I love it!

  • You are a saint for uploading this -- and for putting in your own English subtitles, too! Moffo and Montarsolo are among my favorite singers, and both are perfect for their roles here.

  • This is fantastic! Thanks for the upload. This is one of my favorite operas. i have all the available DVDs of this opera. This one is only available as VHS.. Anna Moffo is perfect Serpina. She is so beautiful that she is effortlessly sexy. What did you use to convert the VHS to digital, and what program did you use to add the subtitles? By the way, do you have any idea where the filler music comes from at the beginning of film (the part you didn't post) and between Acts 1 and 2? Thanks again.

  • @concerto1839 thank you so much,i just can´t wait for this.

  • I had the pleasure of meeting Paolo Montarsolo. What a marvelous human being!
