@SovereignBeing most definitely, especially music, it seems to open another dimension for me. Regarding Ken Keyes, the real issue for me is that I know a lot of people who would benefit from his living love technique to reboot your bio computer, but when I try to explain it to them they basically laugh and say I'm a bit weird . Yet they have broken marriages, dysfunctional children and have sad unhappy lives but consider themselves "normal". It's a strange upside down reality.

@coolnwynpyn1 and dont you agree that 'dabbling,' is key to inner contentment? that we all need a creative outlet or passion in order to balance our often very mundane daily lives..

The mind is like a computer and can be programmed and reprogrammed at our will through awareness.

It is great to hear that someone has actually utilized this ability and created an 'alternate reality' for themselves..

@mandolinroad I see your point, and you're probably quite correct. But at the time (mid 90s) it was like a revelation that there is a better way to live. This book is extremely powerful if you take the time & effort to understand it. And yes I now think I was simply learning how to reprogram my bio computer, same as NLP & self-hypnosis, but boy it worked. And i'm a chronic sceptic.

I note you are inspired by mandolin, I dabble myself, also fiddle & guitar, music is a passion of mine.

ur "vibes" seem like a defensive mechanism ur jaded overstimulated western mind has created to stave off having faith in anything. which is the greatest fear of the "westerner". the fear of letting go(not being in control or at least having the delusion of u centeredness). typical by the way. with all do respect. do not assume because the man used words which trigger ur defenses that he is a "cult figure" he in fact only taught people how to operate their bio computer.

I was fortunate back in the seventies to teach now and then at the Living Love Center in Berkley, CA I taught Silva Mind Control during those year and have great admiration for Ken and the work that he developed, he was one of the genuine human beings of his time with great insight into how we have all been downloaded with dysfunctional beliefs, and yes his methods do work to transform a human into a joyful person.
