@drifter23four If you want to see a bad police force try the PSNI, and northern Ireland is supposedly part of the UK so if you were right we wouldn't have police driving around the streets letting cars be stolen and burnt out every night and then doing nothing to help when its reported etc

@drifter23four Oh cop on.More mature democracies?Seriously I have so many things to say but id rather just slap you.This is Ireland, not the Uk or the US.Thats what makes us different.There are hundreds of US police brutality videos on youtube and none of them being friendly to the people they are protecting instead of beating them like in the US or killing them like the police and the G8 protests.

This video highlights that the Gardai are capable of interacting with the public in a positive way and you start blaming them for dossing on the job and a murder that happened miles away.

This resentment to the gardai is really starting to piss me off, I've no vested interests, I know nobody who is a gard, but the few times I've needed them (to remove scumbag drunks from the restraunt where I worked and after the same place was robbed as I worked) they have been nothing but helpful and curteous. They take so much shite off scumbags everyday, bit of respect would go a long way.
