This set of Aurora Borealis Northern Lights photos were taken by myself near Terrace BC Canada on the 3rd and 4th day after an X-17 solar flare on Sept/07/2005.
It was the 4th largest solar flare on record.
Sorry the photos are a little grainy (I compressed them)
Taken with a Canon A-70 iso 200 8-15 sec.
(Lost lake) near Terrace British Columbia Canada.
Song is "You're My World" by Joe Satriani.

@samucac Come to Canada! It's beautiful! (even in winter!) :) (although bring your VERY warm clothes if you come in winter!!! :) especially since you're used to warm weather! :)

crazyness! I was at lost lake watching these either before or after you took them. Or maybe you were there, I remember there being two people with what I thought was a telescope, or maybe it was a camera. Anyway I could get the stills off you please!

dude... amazing... joe satriani is amazing, and you are one lucky person to get to see the aurora borealis in person....I live in kansas so no chance for me.
