Just a simple remake I made of one of my favorite songs in Chrono Trigger. Take note that these are covers and I tried to stay as close to the original as possible.

I always gave Magus his real name when he joined my party. I also named Frog Glenn.

Someone watched me play for a while. He was confused as to how everyone was surprised about Janus being the little tyke named Janus.

I was like "Oops, spoilers."

@karitsu I've always believed that the 16-bit graphics was part of its charm. Chrono Trigger's magic will never exist with advanced graphics--the heart and soul of the game are, pardon the pun, a link to our pasts, not a vision of the present. Any attempts to remake with better graphics will fail, as we saw with the CT report and Chrono Cross (the official sequel) both.

It's been a while since I played... but I thought you couldn't name Magus until he joined your party, and he didn't join your party until after the destruction of Zeal and learning that Janus was Magus? Huh. Was that just some New Game + thing?

This remix is awesome. I agree with your commenter reply, this game needs to be remade with modern graphics, and total props to you, have this song as the new Zeal theme.
