Red Alert 1 soundtrack by Frank Klepacki. The song is called Hell march. In my opinion the best red alert track and probably the most well known one too.

Originally intended for use with the Brotherhood of Nod, it features militaristic samples—including marching, industrial sounds, and a commander shouting what sounded like "We want war, wake up!"—but actually a German drill instructor shouting "Die Waffen legt an!", roughly translated as "Ready weapons!".

My quick guide:
If you have the Red Alert Allied and Soviet ISO files;

- Use magicIso or Daemon tools to mount the iso file of the first disc.

- Download, install and run Red Alert Setup Manager v0.98 (link:
http://ra.afraid.org/html/downloads/u... )

- Install the game using this program and the mounted cd.(install patch 1.08 to avoid a kernel error)

- Repeat for the second disc.

- Go to the installation folder of Red alert 1 and right click the .exe file, go to properties and compatibility. There you need to change the compatibility mode to windows 95. :)

Not knowing that the quote was taken from something that Westwood didn't make themselves, I personally always believed it to be a slightly muffled yell of "Hitler has been killed!". Wouldn't make much sense since aside from Einstein who even knew Hitler existed in this universe? But from a narrative stand point, it would make sense as in: "Yet, they're marching to war."

'die waffen, legt an' barely sounds that way, and it could not mean 'Ready the weapon, we march'.

Shut up unless you've got something useful to say.

When I started my pro wrestling career I used to come down to the ring with this playing on the PA. Just hearing it again makes me want to fight someone. :)

Actually, it can't reasonable be "die waffen legt an". Check out /watch?v=44IZfnwokMA to see why. :)

attention in front of your respective bed, escapes me. Not to mention the fact they have several turns in there, How ever are they sposed to figure this out with so little to go on?

Also. If you want a more Visual Representation that what a drill instructor says means nothing for the action it garners. Take the totally comedic performance displayed in Full Metal Jacket. Completely Irrelevant (or is it?) to the argument at hand.

They March in, Knowing full well where they are sposed (oh look, nother short-not-gonna translate right word) arrive

This is my rifle, this is my gun. This is For fighting, this is for fun.

How this instructs them to March in, circle, and then attent

Needlessly to say. When you have visual proof that they do nothing with their "arms" "weapons" etc, at the command, that is where you have a sound argument to make that they disobeyed an order, or that it was not die waffen legt an

the translation of which, possibly meaning "The weapons, at ready" like I read, Could easily actually mean "Ready the weapon, we march", OR could easily be short For that

Afterall... "it nt liek we dnt do it 2, i men, riht? u nomsayin?"

Any rate. Your video prove nutn
