C&C Red Alert 1 - Hell March (music)

Red Alert 1 soundtrack by Frank Klepacki. The song is called Hell march. In my opinion the best red alert track and probably the most well known one too.


Originally intended for use with the Brotherhood of Nod, it features militaristic samples—including marching, industrial sounds, and a commander shouting what sounded like "We want war, wake up!"—but actually a German drill instructor shouting "Die Waffen legt an!", roughly translated as "Ready weapons!".

My quick guide:
If you have the Red Alert Allied and Soviet ISO files;

- Use magicIso or Daemon tools to mount the iso file of the first disc.

- Download, install and run Red Alert Setup Manager v0.98 (link:
http://ra.afraid.org/html/downloads/utilities-3.html )

- Install the game using this program and the mounted cd.(install patch 1.08 to avoid a kernel error)

- Repeat for the second disc.

- Go to the installation folder of Red alert 1 and right click the .exe file, go to properties and compatibility. There you need to change the compatibility mode to windows 95. :)

Hey, why does everyone rip on EA? Sure, they bastardize long-running franchises, but let I remind you that RED ALERT 2 was an EA product as well? And we all know how beloved THAT game is!

The only good C&C game EA ever did was tiberium wars, yet they managed to ruin it totally with twilight. Rather than being mad at the development team we should rage at the those who sit at teh top since they decided to convert it into teh sequel

EA didn't aquire Westwood Studios until shortly after Red Alert 1 was made.....that's why no EA logo....learn to read some history please.
