I wish I could afford to have Diana Ross to perform for my next birthday. You elitist wanna bees. If someone pays her fee ...why not? Get over yourselves. She looks good, she sounds good, she raised five healthy children, she lost a lot of money during one of these "Black Mondays" in the stock market. She is doing her thing. Praise her and cast positive light on her. She is one of our treasures.

There is no comparison with Lady Di and Mary. Ross is royalty. How can you compare a Rolls Royce to a Pinto. That would not be fair, right? Even when they were a group, Diana was the group. Diana has international presence and is an Icon. Can you say the same thing for any other Supreme?When people think of the Supremes, whose name comes to the human mind? Hmmm. I rest my case. Diana is the Supremes. She was made for success, it was meant to be, and it came to past.

Fans have always been divided in their loyalty to Mary and Diana ... Having seen them both doing their own thing recently, I must say Mary is finally focusing on what she does best .. jazz, ballads and rock. After years of hard work and dedication, Diana has also maintaining real nicely.

I have never mimized Diane's talent when she was a member of the original lineup of the legendary Supremes. The farther we get from the days of Flo, Mary, and Diane the more issues I have with Miss Ross. I would have despised her back then had I known what was going on behind the scenes even back then. The image of the group was squeaky clean and I fell in love with the trio from Detroit. By the time Flo and HDH left Motown I began to have enough of the "Extreme Supreme" AND her ego!

And i agree with YOU to a certain point as well!!That (so called) 'Supremes Reunion' was a shambolic MESS of an idea...but that said...after the utter CRAP that Mary has pulled with Diane,i can COMPLETELY understand her not wanting to step onto the same stage as her...hell,i'd think twice about bein in the same fukkin STATE as Mary if i were Diane!!And you're right...Diana was NOT 'THE' Supremes...but my God...do you think that we would even be HAVING this debate were it not for Diana's vocals!

The MrMaz The failure of the Return To Love Tour proved ONCE and FOREVER that Diane most certainly IS NOT The Supremes. It also proved that the legend of The Supremes is greater than the sum of its parts and that Diane was merely a part. She didn't leave the group 40 years ago to "murder" the songs of the legendary trio, Let her murder the songs fom her solo career and leave the songs of the legendary Supremes to our memory and posterity.
