World largest pyrotechnic show - Fireworks

Funchal city of the Madeira Island has achieved to register a Guinness World Record with its pyrotechnic exhibition, that involved 17 tons of fireworks ... that caused 660,300 detonations ... 8,000 explosions per minute ... over an area of 6 km by 2.7 km wide ... more than 8 minutes long.

And I think you might want to check your math. 660,300 into 8 minutes is approx 80,000 per minute. Not 8000. I do have to admit though that's a s__tload of pyro. And the finale was bangin.

I believe if you want to try and experience the largest pyrotechnic show....I suggest, the Philippines....from Manila, inside the house, streets, plazas, anywhere there's fireworks and firecrackers every new year.....you can check it here in YOUTUBE. New year 2011 Manila, New year 2007 makati...

@PyroCreationZ it realy is, ur body start shaking and it looks like the end of the world. it is so loud that even screaming the guy that is half a meter near to you doesn't hear wat u said. and the city disapear on the lights! u see so many "flashbangs" that u cant see the city. it is just AMAZING! and they do that every year! thats even more amazing... xD
