  • Nice clip, and great relaxing music. I have one of those ECS masters too. Not running, the impulse gearwheel is worn out.

    The Moser Baer has the same type of mechanism, see my video response clip.

  • ...to solve the escape wheel worm teeth I removed the aligning pins on the lever bridge and lowered it a tad, the lever engages again and the clock goes on merrily...

    the locking wheel always is stopped at the very same spot and the teeth on those sector are getting worn...but still mesh.

    The day I hang it to stay, I am going to make these two wheels anew, but there is no hurry...

  • Thanks for your reply, I have done a poor botch up job but the ECS clock works now.

    I have soldered part of another gearwheel in parallel with the worn teeth to make up a continuous gear path. It doesn't look nice but the problem is solved for the meantime.
