Adam Weishaupt was from a Jewish family and taught law to Jesuits at Ingolstadt before Clement IVX banned them in 1773. That is when Weishaupt merged the banned Jesuit order with Free Masonry and much of Europe's Black Nobility, which included the Frankist and Sabbatean Labor Party Jews. Washington even wrote letters denouncing "illuminized Masonry" to other members of the American lodges. Today the Scottish Rite Free Masons have a HEADQUARTERS right next door to the Jesuits in Rome at the Plaza del Gesu. Many top Jesuits are Free Masons also.

Do a Google Book search and read some issues of "The New Age Magazine", by the Scottish Rite Freemasons. In there you'll find the Freemasons repeatedly expressing their hatred of the Roman Catholic as their avowed enemy, AND, interestingly, their outright PRAISE OF PROTESTANTISM.
