  • Why does this have only 131,101 views? Robert Taylor is possibly the most underrated and under-watched guitarist in the CandyRat secret guitar supergenetics laboratory. I love your crazy shit, Robert Taylor!

  • @iHeartCoolStuff yeesh. The man is absolutely a musical genius.. noises? Really?

  • RT AND AD ARE CANDYRAT'S TWO MOST POWERFUL GUITARISTS HANDS DOWN! AND I WANT THEIR COCKS IN MY GIRLFRIENDS MOUTH !!

  • @iHeartCoolStuff

u cant be serious.......i respect your opinion, if you dont like it, ah well.....

but this is definitely not 'trying to make as many noises as possible...changing time signatures'.......

I know this song very well, and

If u want, I could show you the entire song structure, and how this is all 'straighforward' scale stuff.

Playing 6/8 throughout (with some filler measures here and there) in the key of Cm (with exception of the very last chord CMaj7 :D).

  • 1:55 = same tune as before but played like a boss

  • @iHeartCoolStuff yeah... you don't even realize how musical this piece is. Coming from a percussionist/flutist/arranger... this is phenomenally musical. To me it almost resembles the russians' beautiful and much more intricately developed than western music's melodical structure. This is quite gorgeous honestly. His technique as well. I can honestly say this probably took months to write so... i respect your opinion but it's pretty uneducated.

  • @iHeartCoolStuff coming from a guitar instrumentalist, robert's technique is awe-inspiring. so some ears this song sounds quite chaotic but to mine its a barrage of sonic color and ballistic rhythm. i respect your opinion.

  • Trying to make as many different noises as you can on the guitar and then sporadically changing time signatures to the point of losing rhythm and fluidity does not constitute some kind of musical genius. Just one man's opinion.

  • I've known this vid for a longtime, but it's been incredibly difficult to find it out another time, Youtube should put this in its homepage ! This piece reminds me of my childhood, very deeply, like things you found absurd when you were a kid : incomprehension is the right word. The consequence of it is you get attached to confirmed values, like teddybears or your parents, and all this comes out in this piece ! GREAAAT ! LOV YOU ROBRT !

  • @googlejoint To right man. Exactly the right balance of melody and experimentation.
