  • got this from Gorillaz' Rise of the Ogre.

  • This song still fucking rules.....TIMELESS WORK OF ART

  • Syd sarai sempre nei nostri cuori!

  • Grande Syd !!!

  • Is that sid at 4.42? ..I don't know why that picture bothers me. Life just keeps going on .But whatever,''I heard he was doing better a couple years before he died..Maybe it was more like 20 years ago and i finally read about it 6 years ago? But he found some kinda peace of mind? He liked little word puzzle games on this present his nephew got him for Christmas at some point..His nephew mentioned how they were not allowed to go up stairs when they visited..Said he was quite but polite to them

  • @MrHairyRambo Maybe that's why Syd left the music industry on his own terms. He wanted people to remember him for the brief time he was when he was young. He left in his prime.

  • Excellent video...posted on my Facebook for friends to see and appreciate the founder of such a legendary band.

I've wondered for years whether the psychotropics he was on for so long contributed to the overall deterioration of his health. I can't imagine that the side effects were pleasant.

A lot of us, whether we were old enough to know about Syd from the 'salad days' or not, feel that Floyd just wasn't the same without Syd. Still a great band, but oh, if he could have just held it together!
