This is solely an example of "something" caught off the delayed feed off the STS-123 mission at approximately 2:15am (PST). It's probably nothing but a reflection.

  • Yeah it was a green flash on the other side of the module moron.

  • It was just a glimpse of the auroraborrialis.

  • there are plenty of these flashes in NASA footage... they've been seeing them since the Apollo missions. Buzz Aldrin called them "fireflies".

  • Reflections usually show up as white. Unless it's determined that the ccd picked it up: It might have just been an analog or digital voltage spike anywhere down the line after the camera, before the recorder.
