  • Part 2: as for having 401 wins, he is among only 9 other goalies who have 400+ wins. most goalies go through their career only dreaming of getting that. Even playing for two other teams he had winning seasons. So is he HOF material? I'd say he is but it will probably be arguable to everyone else. I'll say this though: he definitely has the credentials and i think he's earned the right to be considered for it. that might not sound like much, but who all gets a chance to be a HOFer these days?

  • @Gphazor True that man thanks for your comment I enjoy reading them =)

  • Some will say there were better dynasty goaltenders but for the last 20 yrs. the Detroit Red Wings had that dynasty because of the 317 regular season victories for the wings and 67 playoff games. He went on to win the most coveted trophy in all sports 3 times with that team. Chris Osgood was litterally the foundation to that team for 14 wonderful years. Hats off to you Ozzy I wish you were still behind the crossbars for us. HOFin my eyes ABSOLUTLY. Thank you for the memories

  • @shrunkenhead54 This is true but one question!!!! wouldn't he be infront of the crossbar not behind the crossbar =p

  • Hall Of Fame all the way

  • @lordshathis woot!

  • He earned the hall call!

  • Conklin was backing up halak when this was made and i saw him

  • Part 1: good analysis. ozzy was one of my favorite goalies as a wings fan. he wasn't exactly great; i'd rate him somewhere between above average and great. but that's why i think he's one of the most underrated goalies of all time. Sure, he played for some very good detroit teams over the years, but when he was needed to contribute, he won a large majority of his games. You can definitely say there were better goalies during his time, but only a few of them have as many rings as he does.

  • @NationalFlare very good analysis, i meant between the cross bars, but thats for the Ozzy love
