Dedication of Klein ISD's Reading Express Special Guest Barbara Bush

Klein ISD Board members, Klein Education Foundation Board members, teachers, administrators and community members gathered on Oct 27th to dedicate the Reading Express, a special bookmobile acquired through a Klein Ed Foundation grant. Former first lady Barbara Bush addressed the group with the warm humor for which we know and love her. Afterwards, Mrs. Bush posed for the ribbon cutting and photos with the children. Students then gave us tours of the bus and of McDougle Elementary. Thank you Dr. Cain and Principal Brown for your hospitality and to Anne Vallette, our special friend and supporter in the community.
