  • My dad used to play these to me as a kid.. I'm only 14 now and still love his music :)

  • Hmm looks like some of the lyrics are missing :/

Notably, the bit where "you can heard a pin drop when he locked the door"

  • Oh yeah...don't know why but this is a bastardized version of this song :o(~ There's like 2 full verses missing...the ones that tell the main part of the songs story at that...

  • @xanandar they took turns on becky there were three of them

  • My favourite country singer beside i'm a rock singer...

  • Wait, did he miss a part of the song?

  • I Love this Song ever since I was 22yrs...

  • @chaluw

Thanks. I like your analysis of the song. That's what I got from the song too.

But, I have been dealing with some really nasty and trollish personalities online and on YouTube, hence my previous comments on this song.

Usually, I'm just happy and content to listen to good music without having to analyse or over-analyse anything.

  • @BeautyHealthZoneBlog its a simply a song about a man who chose to live a life different to that of his father, but when push came to shove, he stepped up to protect the ones he loved..

there's no reason so over analyze it

  • @marlowe123100 Thank you for your message. I was writing my interpretation of what I heard in the song if that is ok with you.

What does murder and adultery have to do with this song, I wonder? Maybe you can elaborate further because you seem to be aluding to something of which I have no idea.

    Have a nice evening.

  • @BeautyHealthZoneBlog Ballads are not supposed to be taken as guides to good and proper behavior. There are several ballads involving murder and adultery as well.
