@theawakener7 so, I think one of the lessons here is that this out of shape guy could get into shape, or maybe his instructor would be a greater service were he to teach him some techniques that would be immediately usable. I vote for hammerfists, chin jabs, and ax hands--Carl Cestari stuff. Hopefully eventually he will get into shape

@theawakener7 sure it does. Remember, efficiency is what *works*. So if this guy were in better shape, he'd be in a better position to execute. The so what is that just because a bunch of people do it doesn't make it good or virtuous. I'd against that notion, as a matter of fact. I've joked around here, I've kidded. Other people do as well. Setting that aside, this forum enables crappy manners. 95% of the people acting like asses here wouldn't dare to act that way IRL.

@theawakener7 Cool. So, he could be just starting out. He could be out of shape. Maybe he isn't there yet. Here's an idea: post some of your earlier practice sessions-- the times when you were clumsy and uncoordinated -- and let some anonymous people pick apart your performance. This invalidates my earlier premise, yes. it is nonetheless a valid. He isn't there yet. Should they have used a different person to demo? yeah.

I have to read these messages more often, they are great!!! Well my student here Ed is older and he isn't the most flexible or whatever you might consider a black belt to be. But I will tell you, he has done everything I have asked of him. He has taken is 1st Degree Black Belt Test in our Muay Thai Curriculum.
