Ectopic kidneys One or both kidneys may be in an abnormal position if they fail to progress along
their normal migratory path. Most ectopic kidneys are located in the pelvis, in which case they may fuse
to form a pancake kidney. This is a case of ectopic left kidney located just superior to umbilicus and fused with the lower pole of right Kidney. Abdominal great vessels are posterior to the Kidneys.

Bangaldesh eh? I am from there and was born with an eptopically fused pelvic kidney has it caused this patient problems? My kidney seems to be fine at the moment but I was miss diagnosed with vasculitis in the kidney due to a positive blood test. Let me know. Take care
