I saw this in a snow storm over lake erie about 1 mile out in '06. Lake was frozen, thought someone was stranded on the ice. It glimmered red/blue, building in intensity to white light. Then a beam of light focused on me, I panicked and fell back away from the window into my chair, heart beating, feeling total dread, that it saw me watching. So I viewed from further back in the shadows and noticed another craft come from the northeast. Hysterical I woke my wife but the lights were gone by then.
