Wow! This may be my favorite video so far. I love watching dogs kiss and cuddle with each other.

Hey, I got my new puppy on sunday! his name is Emerson. ..he is a yellow lab.. but he's pretty dark, almost as dark as Ricki was when you got her. I'm gonna put up a video of him soon :)

Hi! I just found your series and watched it all over a couple days. I'm a guide dog handler, and I love seeing the process of the puppies growing and learning. This series really makes me appreciate all the hard work you puppy raisers do, and the time you invest to make these dogs the best they can be. It also shows me just how special my guide is. I really liked the airplane ep. My dog Bambi and I are studying abroad in England, and she did a fantastic job on the flights. Keep up the good work!

Great video. Loved the footage of Gable & Ricki. Our puppy is 17wks old and we're really struggling with loose leash walking. She's growing up so quickly and getting stronger, so I'm worried we have a small window of opportunity to work with her on leash manners. Any tips? One of the earliest videos of Ricki showed you walking with her and she already seemed to get it. Help!

@URSpiders2 Biggest tip I can offer is practive everyday even if it's for only 5-10 mintues and be consistant so the puppy understands what you want from her. It can be hard for a puppy to understand where you want them to be so lots of praise when they get it right. We were not allowed to use food reward with Ricki but it can be very helpful.

You being a vet tech, would you recommend it as a job for someone who has an intrest for animals and has good grades?
CrazyCrystalLuv 11 months ago
@CrazyCrystalLuv I do recommend it, but I do have to warn you it isn't the best paying job. Most of us do the job because we love the work, no because it pays well. There are so many different options for vet techs. Lab aninmal, large animal, small animal, behavior, emergency, specialty practice and shelter medicine. I have been at the same clinic for 12 years now and still love my job. Hope this helps :)
