@MsHorselover8 You leave it in the cage for a week so they get use to them. Then just eat them in front of your budgie so it knows its food. Then after 1 day start feeding it them. Or take out all the seeds/pellets you feed it and replace it with fruits and veggies (only for 1 hour) then replace the old food.

I wish there were bird food commercials like this on television the way there is for dog food or cat food. Equal time for birdies!
