Brilliant car. The closest America ever got to Formula 1. Why did Champ Car have to fold!?!? It was a great series, and in many ways more demanding than Formula 1.

A real racing drivers circuit. Check out the lap by Nigel Mansell before they had paddle shift. Real shame that this classic track has dropped off world motor racings radar. F1 has done the same with Imola. Still what do we know, where only the fans after all!

it funny how much cheaper these cars are and they can almost rival f1 performance while still providing more entertaining racing

@RIEKSONE There is no direct comparison (F1 & CCWS never raced on the same circuit), but the Panoz was easily the second fastest single seater. Altough it's not the speed itself that makes F1 expensive. It's the competition.
