my parents grew up in baltimore we live about an hour out as it is now, horrible place, not what it used to be, hate going down there after dark, camden yards and the inner harbor is about as far in as i'll go by myself and even there is sketchy.

The reaction to a friend/family death that isn't faked or acted out in a re-enactment is always sobering. I used to be an EMT, I have learned to lock up all emotions from seeing this sort of thing over and over again.
