Pink Floyd playing Dogs in Montreal in 1977. This is from the Who Was Trained Not To Spit on the Fan bootleg, and the infamous concert where Roger Waters spit on a fan. No video, sorry.

  • This album is overlooked when it came out. Still to this day I don't hear many Floyd fans talking about it. I really enjoy it. The messages in the lyrics still are relevant in todays corporate America.

  • animals is by far the best album by the freefour and dogs is the coup-de-grace

  • a higher quality recording than most, infact.. i think this maybe the best as far as David's vocals are concerned.. you can hear the texture of it a lot better here, the delay on his voice comes across nicely (or is it reverb?! - i always get them mixed up, no - i'm sure it's a bit of delay on them vocals)

  • The night the course of music history was changed forever

  • One of my favorite PInk Floyd Tracks, Thanks for sharing.

  • @PearlJammer07 i'm right with ya there bud, i'm 41 (which is fun)..would love to hear this stuff being released and anything by floyd..ever. i used to live in a basement flat in a old victorian house in south london..floyd, floyd and more floyd.....well maybe also some vintage bowie, lou reed, purple...list goes on, rock on

  • I was there and one ugly guy on stage spit on me! Luckily I sued his ass and I got 1 million pounds!

  • What a fantastic performance of a fantastic song. I wish sometimes I was in the position to sit people like Gilmour and Waters down and try and get them to appreciate just how timeless their music is and just how much it is still loved. Not just by the people who grew up with it, but younger people like me (24) who grew up with it being played on their dads stereos. Perhaps then they would throw aside all the arguments that saw the worlds greatest ever band torn apart. I'd kill to see this live.

  • I borrowed ANIMALS from a friend back in 1999 and this album is fuckin´ fantastic and so does the lyrics as usual, by the way.

  • @PearlJammer07 it was rick wrights favorite album. man im blessed to be born in 77 and got the opportunity to live the music of the great bands at their primes from the late 60's and 70. the greats r gone too soon barrett, wright, mercury, hendrix, lennon, harrison, morrission etc, i really feel sorry for this generation. music/albums back then were art and music was treated as way of life not like today i really feel sorry for this generation.

  • Great stuff pearljammer07 this material needs to be released....poured down from heaven on unsuspecting floydians....so what's the problem.....Roger and Dave?

Money is the ROOT OF ALL EVIL!
