  • They're not that difficult to keep until it all goes wrong. This is a superbly planted tank, though I don't think you should mix siamensis with discus cos they're too active and spook the discus.

  • I have uploaded this video in the year 2006.

Now This tank still exists and this Discus fish are still alive. I have removed the Siamensis years ago.

    Bye

  • are those neons or cardinels? and whats the temp of your tank?

  • They are cardinals and neons

(some of them are cardinals and the others are neons)

    My tank's temp is 26-27°C (79-81°F)

  • get blue dicus thyre so awesome and are not as picky on water conditions as most other discuses.

  • These Discus was a present, I didn't choose them but they are still alive and it seems that they are healthy

  • is that a red tale black shark in with the Discus if it is that will stress Discus for sure especially on a night time

  • jeeze, either all your fish (cardinals, SAEs) are HUGE. or your discus are smal.

  • I am so jealous , i can't watch it this anymore :P

  • @pankakelovers Whats the wrong and right way to wake up a discus? :)

  • 10 gallons, 13 gallons, 11 gallons, is not a big difference, and i didn't say that should be 13 gallons a must, even 12 gallons is fine. i'm not complaining....

  • incorrect. 1 discus needs 10 gallons for growing up if less than they wont grow.

  • I'm setting up my discus tank too, so i read this....

Each discus needs at least 13 gallons of water that is about 50 liters, respet the water parameters ph, gh, temperture, etc is vital for them, don't place your tank in a noisy place.
