Stop the Hate speech against Belief

This goes to the groups that are using hate speech as a scapegoat for our beliefs.
Right now in Canada people are being thrown in jail for just disagreeing with the lifestyle and NOT even using slurs.
I believe that if this "Hate speech" excuse keeps going we will no longer be able to speak out on anything else christians deem morally wrong.
I believe that if this disturbing trend keeps going we won't be able to speak out against immoral behavior in general.
Down the line for commiting a "hate speech" crime you may be thrown into Jail or even be put to death because of it or at least I fear that's what may happen.
all that for just disagreeing and not even using slurs of any kind.

I just wanted to use Canada as an examle, It's happening in Sweeden also from what I heard.

It's happening everywhere I do believe it will get to a really heavy point where we won't be able to say anything without being thrown in Jail or worse.

What happened with churches back then were pastors missquoting the Bible and plain out racism whereas you can't missquote what the Bible plainly says about Homosexuality being wrong.

You can't choose the color of your skin but you can choose your sexual Pref. no matter what people tell you.

I've said it once and a million times, it boils down to We are born with lusts and murder in us and we choose to not do it every day unless you like to give in.

People need to think for a change.

The only thing gays have that straight non-whites don't is stealth, you can't act "not black" and go hangout with a bunch of bigots and blend in, but gays can "act butch" and they usually do just to keep from getting the shit beat outta them or killed. Sure it's an advantage (although a small one), but I fail to see how that makes them any less persecuted. In the present time, a person has more of a likelihood of being killed for being gay than they do for being non-white.

I use to go along with this being Black and all. But please stop comparing homosexual issues to the civil rights struggle. You don't get mistreated by the law for being White male and gay so cut the crap. Race and sexual preferences are two different things. I voted No on 8 but homosexuals are pissing me off when they want to take the spot light in the civil rights struggle. Dr.King and Malcome X didnot care about homosexuals. In the 50's, churchies had the same complaints about Mixed Marriages; "It goes against God and nature! It'll unravel the fabric of society! We don't want it to become legally recognized because we don't wanna have to teach acceptance of that nastiness to our kids in school! There's no possible way two people of different races could have GENUINE love for each other!" It's the same b.s. Google or Wiki "anti-miscegenation laws" there were in fact laws back then against mixed race couples.

People mistake freedom of speech for freedom of action. Many forget to draw the line between speech and action. Many of those who take action based on their hate are White supremacist groups. Put many of them in jail as possible.

But if your not part of a hate group and your speaking out by all means share your opinion.

You have a right to disagree and speak about it. You do not however have the right to harass people or make threats against them. That is where I draw the line anyway. The hate speech laws sound great until you have them turned against you.

Thanks for standing up for your belief. What makes America great is that this a nation where people are allowed disagree. As Thomas Jefferson said, this is the great experiment and imposing hate laws a.k.a. "thought crime" laws would endanger this and further deteriorate what little freedoms we have left. This can not be let to happen in what is suppose to be the home of free. It is simply the right to disagree and nothing more as you said, and disagreement shouldn't be taken as hate.
