Wile was a key pickup because having him on our roster is almost like us getting a 5 star because he has the chance in getting us key points that wasnt there last year. Raven seems to be a big ? but lets see what magic our staff can work on him. McClure and Willingham seem to be very reasonable right now and would be excellent pickups. Along with Flowers and Bryant and hopefully getting Fisher back this class might not turn out half as bad as everyone thought it would be.

@boxellmark27 I've got to think Gibbons will transfer if and when Wile secures the job as the starting kicker. And yeah, Hoke is off to a nice start. Tamani Carter and Keith Heitzman aren't impressive, but they do provide much needed depth, and getting Wile and Raymon Taylor today is excellent. Now lets see if he can get Raven, McClure, Chris Bryant, and the other blue chippers considering (favoring?) Michigan

@Poole1Dan Gibbons was highly rated but he has really, really horrible mechanics and he's proven that he can't transition from kicking field goals off of a tee. Broekhuizen at least has an excuse in that he's a walk-on. It doesn't matter now though, since we got Wile. Hoke's doing a great job recruiting with the time frame that he's been presented with.

@boxellmark27 At least Gibbons was a top 10 rated kicker in the 09 class who's on a full ride scholarship. Its possible he will become reliable when he becomes a veteran. But Broukheizen was a 4th year Junior walkon, and he was the worst kicker in the nation.
But you're right: we've got to get Wile. He appears to be like Garret Rivas: a weak leg, but more then reliable accuracy.

@foshizzlesteve03 Yeah, no kidding about Golden. Crawford was gone anyways, but Matt Goudis and Antonio Kindard were almost certain to be Wolverines, and then, BOOM, they are Hurricanes. Hopefully we get Mile Wile to replace Goutis. I'm not sure if Brendan Gibbons will ever become a reliable kicker, and we know Broukheizen is shit.
