Very early morning landing in Bangkok - Thai Airways Airbus A340-500 (HS-TLA) from Los Angeles

This are the last minutes of the 16hours flight TG795 from Los Angeles to Bangkok. Flight operated by Airbus A340-500 reg. HS-TLA, named Chiang Kamh.
Video taped from Seat 16A. See the first daylights coming through the night, it is 5.30 a.m. local time as we arrive from the north to land Runway19R in Suvarnabhumi. Like every other Thai-Flight this was a very nice Royal Orchid Service with a nice crew in a nice aircraft I so long wanted to fly with - finally I got it :-)

Thanks for the Video! I get so excited...Im taking this flight Next month. 2 questions: seatguru.com shows that this plane has power outlets on pretty much all the seats, true? And also Orbitz (were im buying my tickets) Shows it's an 18 hour flight...but your video say 16...? Thanks for the info!

@lopdaniel i only flew buisness and they had power outlets. I cant really say if they are in eco or premium eco, too, but I think so.

And, yes, its usually an 18 hours flight. But on my flight we had very good winds and we were routed via hawaii and japan straight over the pacific avoiding the climb towards alaska and siberia...so we were two hours faster than usual. and we had departed lately so this was a good thing to do for the pilots avoiding late arrival at suvarnabhumi

Ah Bangkok. I love visiting Thailand, especially Phuket. Im going again in June and cant wait. It will be on an A340 - 600 to. I love the A340's. Its a 12 hour flight from Auckland to Bangkok.
