It has been almost three years since Hurricane Katrina caused massive flooding in New Orleans. As another hurricane season approaches, beginning on June first, the city has taken on a new mood of confidence. It has become a popular destination for conventions and tourism in general has picked up. The city still faces many problems, but, as VOA's Greg Flakus reports from New Orleans, the city's fun-loving image has never been brighter

  • I want to add a date 2-23-2010. The french quater was not affected very much by Katrina they are on high Ground. Low ground was affected and some areas of New Orleans are 8 ft or so below sea level
