How to regain full recording time on a flip camcorder

I just had this problem, and normally I could fix it the way they tell you on the website, but it didn't work, so I had to play around with it a little, and with an amazing feat of luck, I figured out how to hack into the camcorder's viewer files.

THANKS SO MUCH! I FINALLY GOT MY 60MIN BACK FROM 36 MIN, FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS THEIR 60 MIN BACK INSTEAD OF PUTTING THE NUMBER HE PUT FOR 30 MIN PUT 1000000 FOR THE FULL 1 HOUR BUT THANKS TO THIS GUY I WOULD HAVE NEVER FOUND OUT HOW TO FIX IT THANKS!!!!

what number is it for 60 minutes??

@RandomDukProductions Mine is 30 minutes, but if you look at the comments below, you'll find that you can change the number to something else depending on which camera you have. Good luck :)

Finally figured it out, had to put in 3000000, but I only got back 36:15, although I hav a 2 hr cam, def better then 00 which is what I had, lol. Thanx

Just install a new version of the flip shareware and it should reinstall the system and any other folder you may be missing.

Thank you so much!! ahh! you dont know how happy I am. I called flip a few months back, and that guy couldnt help me at all, and said I needed to send it in. I gave up on my flip and never really used it. But since Im going to Comic con tomorrow, I wanted to go on youtube to see if anyone posted a video of how to fix it. You did! Thank you!! :D Now I will enjoy my flip once again!!
