Liverpool Town Hall, 27 October 2011.

The British Tory government has ordered Liverpool City Council to make a further £50 million worth of cuts to the city's budget. The Council invited a selection of public representatives along to Liverpool Town Hall to enable them to explain their predicament, and to explore what Labour Councilors believe are the only available options left open to them.

Is the Labour Council's invitation to debate the issue with a 'selection' of public representatives a ploy to offset responsibility for implementing what many people regard as illegal cuts to the city's budget?

This film gives voice to a selection of concerned citizens who weren't allowed in to the Council's debate to voice their opinion about what the Council is doing and what they feel Labour Councilors should be doing in response to the government's demands to slash funding for public services.
