@ghostoferkrussell In the first two years, most of the players Petrino had to work with were recruited by (take a guess) Nutt. Usually by the time the third year rolls around, the coach's true colors tend to show. Hence Nutt's 4-8 season as compared to Petrino's 10-3 season.

And I don't think Petrino is that great. He just has a good offense. His defense is atrocious though.
