  • do you have simple, and easyer origami (this will be my first 3d origami)

  • @MsZvezdin this is kind of a simple one. another one is the mini owl. so look up 3d origami mini owl

  • beautiful indeed, but I have some Q because this model would be probably the first 3d origami I`ll make: can I put some transparent spray on it after its done, to be more firmly or I just can glue every part together and I`d like the basket to be larger, so could it be maked out of bigger triangles, double size perhaps - 16 from A4, not 32 or size is up to number of smaller ones in the construction?

great work really, thanks for posting these tutorials

  • @Bayubadu thanks^^ yes to make it bigger you can either use more small pieces or do it exactly the same with bigger pieces<- that would be easier because if using small pieces you'll have to figure out how to make it yourself and the whole at the bottom would be bigger/the inverted pieces might not cover it all up. yeah you can glue them or use spray. I've never used spray before so I dunno how it goes. I've heard someone used hairspray and said it works well. glad you like the tutorials :-)

  • i cant get the triangle and change it w/ other color coz i put glue on it to secure it b coz it fall apart... help me please

  • @hottenrose you should watch a whole tutorial before making to see if i take pieces off, cos it happens in lots of tutorials, and so you can get the idea of how to make the model before making it just continue, you'll just have coloured triangle shapes instead of diamond shapes

  • What type of paper did you use?

  • Jewellia could you show us how you make your pieces rounder?

  • Jewellia is AWESOME! But can she make paper cheese...?

  • @jewellia7777

I`ve done it as I said, it looks very nice but I`m affraid to breathe near it because it fell appart milion times while I made it and I wanted to eat it every half an hour. nevermind, I think it`s the thickness of the paper in question, I use 80g A4 and it`s slippery, so I`ll put some glue to fix it because it looks great, in dark and light purple and light pink tones

my 5 year daughter was delighted by all that, so she made some triangles for her own `project` :D

  • @jewellia7777

yes, with double sized triangles it would be easier to follow the pattern and using smaller one would need to improvize, but the construction with the smaller parts would give more stability to the item because of the paper thickness on smaller paper-modul surface if I work with the same kind of paper and I usually do - plane print paper ... I`ll try both anyway

thanks for the reply, happy NY and many more great projects from you :)
