'By the end of Wednesday, this much was known about the 193 Democratic delegates up for grabs in Tuesday's primary and caucuses: Clinton's advantage in the primary gives her a 65-61 edge in delegates allocated on the basis of that vote, but there could still be a shift of two delegates. All indications are that Obama is edging her in the caucus process, and he may end up with an overall delegate victory in Texas as big as 99-94.'

Indeed it is impossible to win 69/44 or 69/34, but I understand teeftaller's feelings on this. Either candidate has to win each senate district by more than 62.something % to get a 3:1 delegate split. If they win by 50-62%, they split 2:2 on the delegates. Percentage does matter, in short.
