how long have you had skippie? I'm curious when my bird, petrie, will start talking like that. Over the past year she has started talking but has only used that quiet grumble once. I hope she starts doing that more.

I think Skippie is very unique, most websites I've read about conures, say if they say 5 words and you can understand them, this is what you should expect. However they are good whistlers.
I post these videos because he is teaching Ruby to talk too, and her little voice is raspy.
Try noises, aha choo, kiss, whistles, also a radio on..
