While i have a crack in my skull from an epically failed lache, I finally got round to making a response to MattBowen's handstand vlog. Working on straddle raiseups mainly here.

  • so you landed on your head then or something like that in the lache?

  • My hands slipped off the railing as i was swinging forwards. so i just catapulted my head at the floor.

  • I am going to go and try elephant lifts...

Tiger stands, give them a go ;)

  • Just did a few tiger stands, they dont seem too hard. I'd love to be able to lift out of one into a handstand

  • so, I can do the lift, I just can't hold a handstand :D

With Tiger bends I get to about 45degrees, then I eat the carpet. Trick is to lean forwards, have your weight over your hands as you push, not your elbows.

You have inspired me to learn to handstand!

  • Tiger stands are piss if you can raiseup, because you use similar muscles to push into it.

And do you mean you can elephant lift?! Because i cant do them with completely straight legs...!

  • (just realised you mean lifting out of them)
