The inevitable conclusion of what Daniel is saying is that there is a level of governance beyond the the talking heads we tick a box for every few years who "never face an election". He is referring to the monied ruling class who persist with an agenda disconnected from the "democratic process". We all secretly acknowledge that to be the case but prefer not to think about it while immersed in our day to day wage slavery. As Churchill said 'If voting could change anything they'd abolish it".

The banks put off the recession by lowering interest rates and giving people the unlimted credit cards.
Now with more dept to service the recession will be the worst ever. The G20 is made up of the people who created the problem in the first place.
