I would want Oscar to be with me on my last days. I read the book and cried a lot. I feel really bad about (SPOILER!) Mr and ms rubenstein. (I think that's how you spell it.)

What's important for folks to understand is Oscar doesn't cause death, he simply senses it.
I would love to spend my last dying minutes in the company of a cat like Oscar.

I love this story. I'm not surprised though... when one of my cats was dying of cancer, one of our other cats kind of stayed by her until her last days kind of watching over her.
