Interactive 3D Kidney

The kidneys are key organs of the urinary system and primarily function by filtrating blood producing and releasing urine. The kidneys are responsible for regulating water and electrolytes, excreting the products of metabolic activity, maintaining blood pH/Acid-based balance, secreting hormones rennin and erythropoietin, activating Vitamin D and responding to hormones ADH and aldosterone. In this activity not only will you have the chance to identify all the basic structures of the kidney but you will also have a chance to test your memory while trying to beat the clock by labeling each of the structures.
